Véronique Piron is a master of the shakuhachi, the emblematic bamboo flute of Japan.  She combines traditional with contemporary music.  Véronique is mainly performing in solo or in duet with various musicians in France and abroad, including koto-shamisen players and shakuhachi players. She participated in different shakuhachi events as the European or International Shakuhachi Festivals, like in Tokyo in 2002 or in Sydney in 2008.
